Released during the week of Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday in 2020, Astu is happy to bring out a wildlife montage short film set to an adaptation of Tagore’s poem, ‘Playthings’.
This film is a satirical take on a subspecies of photographers that is more interested in likes, comments and social media fame than real awareness. They camouflage by usually writing elaborate descriptions of their subjects, invariably copied from wikipedia or some such source. No offence intended. If, however, you feel this film is about you, it probably is. Too bad.
